The Ord Oracle: October 10th, 2023
The Ord Oracle is a weekly event organized by the Oracle Defense Forces and is held every Thursday in the heart of the ORD. ORD stands for the Order of Routinary Defense, a powerful entity of mysterious origins that has had a hand in Gojira defense initiatives around the world for centuries. This week’s event was the first ever held in which the leader of ORD, the Grand Oracle, was in attendance.
The atmosphere of the Oracle was strange and somber as the crowd hushed as the Grand Oracle entered the arena. For the first time in decades, the Oracle was revealed to the public in its true form. Those in attendance were left speechless and awe struck as the Oracle materialized into the Oracle’s swirling form within the confines of the stadium.
The Grand Oracle spoke to the crowd in a deep and thunderous voice, “The time has come for us to once again stand tall against the scourge of Gojira. For too long we have let the behemoth roam free, wreaking destruction without consequence. Today we gather to put an end to this madness and restore peace to all the people of the world.”
The Grand Oracle continued, “Tonight we will be launching ORD’s first ever operation against Gojira, known as ‘Harmony.’ This operation will be our first step towards the containment and ultimate eradication of the beast. We will use all available means to ensure Gojira is, once and for all, defeated.”
The Oracle’s proclamation ended in raucous cheers and thunderous applause as the announcement ran through the crowd like wildfire. The ORD had struck a chord and with it brought hope that a world without the terror of Gojira could finally become a reality.
And so, on this day, October 10th, 2023, the Oracle Defense Forces began in earnest the very first step towards the ultimate victory against Gojira and restoring the Order of Routinary Defense once again. The future is now in our hands.
