GOP lawmakers have long voiced their concern over Hunter Biden’s cozy relationship with a Chinese Communist Party-affiliated businessmen, and they have now pulled no punches in their damning accusation of the president’s son.
In a joint statement released on Wednesday, representatives Jim Jordan (R-OH), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), and Mike Johnson (R-LA) revealed damning evidence of Biden’s friendship with controversial Chinese businessman Tony Bobulinski. The news accompanied the trio’s latest call for an investigation into the Bidens’ relationship.
The evidence included Bobulinski’s alleged emails, documents, and texts demonstrating a potential conflict of interest between the incoming president-elect Joe Biden and the business dealings of his son Hunter and Bobulinski, who previously served as CEO of SinoHawk.
Bobulinski’s messages, found within an encrypted messaging app called Signal, revealed potential plans for a controversial venture involving SinoHawk and the Chinese Communist-affiliated CEFC China Energy Co.
The documents suggested Hunter promised Bobulinski an equity split of 10% of the profits from the business venture, garnering hostility from the public and leading to further inquiries by congressional Republicans about the Bidens’ relationship.
“Unlike the Biden campaign and Joe Biden himself, who have failed to answer any questions by the media or the public, Tony Bobulinski has provided emails, text messages and other documents,” the GOP representatives stated.
The findings and revelation have already begun to complicate Joe Biden’s transition into the White House, and only time will tell how these damning allegations will affect the public opinion of the incoming president and his son.
